Weather Seal Replacement is one of the most common calls we get. A technician will explain what is wrong and what it will cost before starting, and test the door before leaving. New bottom seals, threshold seals and perimeter stops to keep out water and drafts.
When to call for weather seal replacement

Common causes
- Sun and heat drying out rubber

Weather Seal Replacement: frequently asked questions
How much does weather seal replacement cost in Louisiana?
Weather Seal Replacement typically costs $100-$300 including parts and labor, and usually takes about 1 hour. The exact price depends on your door and the parts it needs, and you get it before any work starts. Call (833) 435-8883 for a quote.
Can you do weather seal replacement the same day?
Often, yes. When a technician is available we can usually come the same day, and common parts are carried on the truck. Doors that won't close or have a broken spring are treated as priority calls, and emergency service is available.
Is weather seal replacement covered by a warranty?
Our work comes with a 90-day labor warranty on repairs. New parts and doors also carry the manufacturer's warranty. Ask for the warranty details in writing with your quote.
Are your technicians licensed and insured?
Our technicians are insured, and where Louisiana or your city requires a contractor license for garage door work, the job is done under that license. You're welcome to ask for proof when you book.
Should I repair or replace my garage door?
A good rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than about 50% of a replacement, or the garage door is near the end of its life, replace it. A garage door typically lasts 15 to 30 years. If several panels are damaged, the door is rusted through or rotted, or parts are discontinued, replacing it is often better value. Springs are the exception: a broken spring is always replaced, never repaired. Our free repair vs. replace calculator can help you compare.
